TURKSOMED
Türksomed was established to provide consultancy and logistics services for African and Somali citizens to receive health care in Turkey and other countries.
It aims to provide services with Turksomed’s experienced team and knowledge of more than ten years to ensure that patients and their relatives are correctly informed about receiving healthcare services abroad, that the medical services they need are provided by the right institutions and doctors, and that they are priced correctly.
Türsomed also operates general hospitals and eye clinics in Turkey and the Netherlands.
Türksomed and Istanbul Hospital YKB Nusret Baş was one of the doctors who performed the first Laser eye applications in Turkey in the 2000s. He worked as a doctor and manager in public and private hospitals for many years.
Somali Turksomed manager, Yurtşen Adıyaman, has worked in international health service consultancy, media, communication and publishing sectors for more than 20 years, prepared the first health tourism reports in Turkey in 2000 and provided the first corporate participation in international fairs. Yurtşen Adıyaman, the owner of Bookinghealthcare.com, a completely online and direct health tourism portal project, is a graduate of the Faculty of Science, Department of Physics.
Türksomed is a subsidiary of Istanbul Hospital, which holds a health tourism authorization certificate from the Turkish Ministry of Health.
